Driving Lessons: Requirements, Where to Learn, Price, FAQ

Driving lessons

Driving lessons are a mandatory step in obtaining a driving license. Category B drivers must have certain competencies in order to drive safely on the road and properly control the car. These competencies include preparing the car for driving, assessing traffic situations, proper behavior on the road, driving straight, on a winding road, parking the car, and others.

Driving lessons are attended at a selected driving school, when together with an instructor you drive on probable routes that will be relevant during the "Regitra" exam. During these lessons you learn how to properly control the car, its devices and move safely in traffic, taking into account the Road Traffic Act. In total, it is mandatory to drive 30 ac. hrs. with a driving school instructor and pass a school driving exam before taking the driving exam at "Regitra".

Before starting practical training, it is worth strengthening your theoretical knowledge. Free KET tests can be useful for this , which will help you get acquainted with the basic rules of the road and prepare for the theory exam at "Regitra". These tests can be useful for both novice drivers and those who want to refresh their knowledge before driving lessons.
